Why Short-Term Missions?
Liberti Communion Youth partners with Bold Hope - an organization focused on bringing long term impact through short term mission.
How? - by supporting the brothers and sisters already at work in the name of Christ.
On these short-term missions trips, young adults see gospel hope alive and vibrant through faithful missionaries working for the Kingdom of God.
Our youth experience what it’s like to be an instrument of that same kingdom message as they support the work Christ is already doing through the church in another country, in another culture, with another language, yet still praising the same Christ.
We’ve seen the faith of our youth strengthened not by being the change themselves, but by witnessing how big their God is as He changes the world near and far.

Where?
The Dominican Republic is a Caribbean island nation where there is beauty but also need at every corner. We’ll be in Batays - where Haitian immigrants are living out a situation that has been described as modern day indentured servanthood, as well as transition neighborhoods, where those who are trying to transition out of Batays live. We will also spend some time enjoying the beauty of the Caribbean.
What and why?
During a week long trip, youth will be involved with running story times, songs, crafts, games, and doing small construction or clean up work.
