THE LIBERTI COMMUNION IS A FAMILY OF CHURCHES WHO MENTOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS FOR LOCAL CHURCH MINISTRY.
The local church, in its full robust expression, is the vehicle through which Jesus is redeeming the world. And by God’s grace, the next generation - Millennials and Gen Z - are more open to faith than previous generations.
But alarmingly, there are also fewer pastors than ever. Pastoral studies evaluated by the Barna Group has revealed that people are quitting vocational ministry or considering quitting in record numbers. And seminary enrollment continues to decline according to the American Association of Theological Schools, an accrediting agency for U.S. and Canadian seminaries.
In other words, today we are seeing in real time what Jesus said to his disciples centuries ago:
“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.”
The Liberti Communion mentors the next generation of leaders for local church ministry. Through internships, residencies, and church planting residencies, we identify, equip, and mobilize young leaders to serve Jesus’ Church. And we aim to mentor leaders who last!
By including and forming our leaders in cohorts, we provide what studies* have shown to be the strongest indicator of longevity for those in vocational ministry: meaningful, authentic, deeply connected community with peers.

Stephen Wood
Liberti offers the essentials for training to be a pastor: they are theologically robust, mission oriented, and led by men and women of godly character. The formation I have received at Liberti will be with me for the rest of my life.
