Summer Internship Overview

Exploration of calling and/or season of service to cultivate a lifetime love for God’s kingdom and the local church.

College-aged men and women who are exploring vocational ministry or setting a summer season to serve and grow through practical ministry experience and personal discipleship.

Hybrid. A combination of virtual shared learning and cohort sessions; in-person worship, mentorship, and service at a local Liberti church.

Approximately 3 months (mid-May to mid-August), including orientation and debriefing.

Not renewable, but summer internships may apply for the 8-month ministry internship or residency program in the future.

20-25 hours per week. This includes Sundays (approx. 5 hours) and weekday responsibilities such as meetings, ministry involvement, reading, and assignments. Interns area expected to immerse themselves in the life and mission of the church.

This is an unpaid position. Interns may raise support up to $10,000 to help cover living and ministry expenses during the summer term.

Support to the staff and volunteers. Internships generally benefit the intern more than the church. And that’s good! It’s equipping the saints for ministry.

A theological (head), spiritual (heart), and practical (hands) ministry intensive to prepare for future gospel ministry in God’s kingdom.
